 A loud shout out to the world from me, Hema, a Techie, Linux Lover, Model, Dancer, Traveler and mother of a cute boy.

 Professionally, I am a Linux Operating System veteran since 2011. I got placed from my college where I studied Electronics and Communication Engineering, in to a Web-hosting company Bobcares operating from Kerala, India, my home country. When I joined I had no idea about Linux or how it works. Initial struggling days helped me start floating in the world of Linux and slowly I started swimming in it.

 After 3 years, I got an offer from Oracle to join their Oracle Linux and Virtualization support team in Bangalore, India. Bangalore is a fascinating city for me with the nature and software companies there. The boost up on the career you get in this Silicon Valley of India is immense.
In between break fixing the customer issues and managing support tickets 2 and half years flew away with the wonderful team there and I got married as well :)

 My partner had to move to Dubai as part of his career. Since that I wanted to stay with him I decided to move to Dubai and I landed in my current job with Nakheel, the real estate giant in Dubai. The Linux part in Nakheel is my area of work and with that I started leaping deep in to the ocean of Linux. I got my RHCE and finally earned RHCA in Infrastructure as first Female in Middle East to acquire the same (4 months after my son was born).

 I am continuing this journey and wish to discover more pearls and gems from this ocean.
The other side of me is a fancy girl who loves music, dance, traveling and world of fashion with colors. I grabbed the Readers choice award for Vanitha Glam Girl International 2018. The Grihalakshmi Club FM Malayali Manka 2018 Second runner up position is another feather to my crown. I was blessed to walk the ramp of Indian Fashion League as a model and few more.
This is my blog space where I love to write more about the technical stuff which can help others. Knowledge increases as you share and hence it is powerful. Sharing is caring.

Squid Proxy Server with Clustering using Corosync, Pacemaker and PCS

Complete Oracle VM Upgrade from 3.3.3 to 3.4.2

Oracle VM Upgrade This document covers the steps to upgrade OVM environment from 3.3.3 to 3.4.2 (upgrade in one step without any incremental upgrades). This includes OVM manager server OS upgrade as well. Before proceeding to follow this document, check the compatibility of upgrade from current version to latest in Oracle documentation since it keeps on changing for each new version. Upgrade Overview: From a high level, the steps to upgrade Oracle VM are as follows: 1. Download required ISO from Oracle Edelivery 2. Backup OVM manager (OVMM)  and Oracle VM servers (OVS) 3.
